Crabapple Cottage welcomes you with warm, country charm and views over apple trees that stretch onwards into the Elgin Valley. With a relaxed living space and soft, layered decor, it’s well-suited to couples or small families needing a peaceful break. From curling up by the fire in winter to summer sundowners on the stoep, this space is as functional as it is full of soul.

Crabapple Cottage has a well equipped kitchen including microwave, stove-top (no oven), and a Nespresso Coffee Machine. The cottage-style bathroom is fitted with heated towel rails, a shower, basin and toilet with towels included.

There is an outdoor patio with seating as well as braai facilities. Here you can enjoy beautiful orchard views. 

THE AREA

The Elgin Valley has much to offer for all ages from outdoor activities like hiking through the natural fynbos vegetation to adventurous Ziplining through the mountains. It is the home of many sought after mountain biking trails as well as trail running events.

There are also a variety of gourmet restaurants and farmstall offering the best of locally produced country fare. If quaffing wine while overlooking spectacular scenery of the vineyards and orchards that make up our landscape tickle your fancy, then this is the place for you! Elgin is well known for its cool climate wines that are unique to this area.
