LIVING 

At the heart of the home is a bright, double-volume open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area designed for easy entertaining and relaxed living. The fully equipped kitchen includes a 4-plate gas stove, an oven, a Nespresso coffee machine, full kitchenware and utensils. Gather around the large dining table that seats eight, or cosy up in the living area with an indoor fireplace/braai and smart TV for evening entertainment. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and microwave.

Elysia Bay Cottage is located in the Springerbaai Coastal Eco Estate just 10 km from Boggoms Bay. Boggoms Bay is nestled along the scenic Western Cape coastline. It is a tranquil seaside village within the Mossel Bay Municipality. Tucked in the heart of Vleesbaai, this peaceful getaway is just under 30 km from Mossel Bay and accessible by a single road, perfect for travellers seeking a quiet retreat off the beaten path. Boggomsbaai is a beloved holiday destination, where most homes are seasonal residences, creating a calm, uncrowded atmosphere year-round. While there are no shops in the village, visitors can enjoy cosy bed & breakfast options and a charming local golf club. The village offers two public walkways leading down to a beautiful, unspoiled beach. The bay is a haven for marine life, with regular sightings of dolphins and whales that come here to feed, making it a magical spot for nature lovers.

Our self-catering unit is proudly off-grid, powered entirely by solar energy.

To ensure a sustainable stay, please use the washing machine and dishwasher only during daylight hours when solar power is available.

The game route is for viewing plants and animals: speed limit 30km/hour.

The following are prohibited: dogs and pets, motorbikes and similar vehicles, boats, jet skis, fireworks, and external fires.

Fires are to be made in internal fireplaces only, and ash is not thrown in the veld.

Outdoor lights must be switched off when not sitting outside.

Respect other residents and keep the noise levels down.

The sea has gullies which could pull bathers into the sea: be on the lookout; do not swim alone. Familiarise yourselves with the use of the Rescue Buoys.
