THE COTTAGE

Olive Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen as well as indoor and outdoor dining areas. A lounge with a smart TV and a wood-burning stove for those chilly winter nights. An undercover braai with a beautiful shaded seating area. The cottage also features its own private splash pool and wood-fired hot tub. Best of all, this couples stay is fitted with full solar backup, so no more load shedding!

LIVING 

The spacious open-plan living space, has a lounge nook with a wood burning fireplace, large leather sitting chairs and smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer combo, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a dining room table and chairs.

Step outside to a covered patio with a built-in braai, second dining table and sitting chairs. This looks over a private garden with a splash pool.

The separate bedroom features a four-poster queen bed with Egyptian cotton linen and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

THE AREA

The unspoiled nature of Bainskloof makes it an ideal getaway. The flora of Bainskloof encompasses an astounding 277 varieties of flowering plants. The fauna in the area includes a selection of 182 bird species in addition to otters, jackals, leopards, honey badgers, klipspringers, grysbok, steenbok, and endangered frogs, and some unique fish. Adventurers flock to Bainskloof to participate in mountain biking, hiking, and swimming in the freshwater pools.

GOOD TO KNOW

All bath and pool towels provided, conditioning shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and hand cream.

Rooibos and English breakfast tea, plunger coffee, milk and sugar, rusks, a bag of ice, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets are provided.

For the indoor fireplace, hot tub and braai a bundle of wood with firelighters and matches are provided. More wood is available on request.
