Not just a getaway, Pepper Cottage is a haven where every detail is curated for a peaceful escape from reality. Built to take advantage of the incredible mountain and valley views.

LIVING

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and tea & coffee facilities. The indoor braai/fireplace is ideal for both cooking and keeping you warm during the winter months. Adjacent to the kitchen is a lovely sitting area looking out onto the beautiful views.

Pepper Cottage has two bedrooms and one shared bathroom with a shower. A sleeper couch in the lounge can accommodate an additional 2 children. 

The cottage opens to a generous patio with outdoor dining area, a built-in fireplace and a wood fired hot tub.

THE AREA

Set in the heart of the Western Cape’s enchanting winelands and cradled by the majestic Langeberg Mountains, in the picturesque area of Klaasvoogd, Robertson.

The farm is a testament to first-generation dedication, cultivating a diverse bounty that includes grapes, apricots, plums, peaches, citrus and an assortment of fresh vegetables.

Swimming in the dam (about 30m behind the cottage) is at guests' own risk. Enjoy fishing- strictly catch & release - of carp, bass and barbel. Canoeing on the dam is allowed, canoeing gear is available on request.

Situated 10 km from Ashton, 11 km from Robertson which offers various shops, restaurants, attractions and activities, 13 km from Robertson Golf Club and 20 km from Montagu.

GOOD TO KNOW

Two extra children can be accommodated on the Double Sleeper Couch. 

Children aged between 0 and 18 pay R200.

Small pets are welcomed by prior arrangement.

One big bag of wood is provided (50 kg). Additional wood can be purchased at R50/bag.

Coffee, honey, fresh eggs & one bottle of drinking water is provided.

Easily accessible with any vehicle, 1.5 km of paved jeep track leading up to the cottage.

Alarm system fitted for additional security.

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.

If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.

If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
