Enjoy the peace and quiet at Porcupine Cottage, with no through-roads, be free to explore your surroundings on foot. The indoor fireplace makes this cabin super cosy in winter. Take advantage of the outdoors in summer and cool off in your own sparkling splash pool. 

THE AREA

Porcupine Cottage is situated on Edenveldt Farm. The Farm is situated in a beautiful natural valley surrounded by mountains and typical Cape fynbos and is home to Rooibos tea. Plenty of birds, wild game, big skies, and no lights at night. Perfect for stargazing.

There are wonderful hikes to explore and a river that runs through the property where you can swim. Enjoy this crystal clear river, with its dancing pools of clean and fresh water.

2 Bags of complimentary firewood are provided. 

Coffee Machine Capsules are not provided. 

Clanwilliam is 22 min (18.0 km) drive away.

The roads are good but the last 6 km to the farm is a typical farm dirt road. A bit bumpy in sections but perfectly good for a normal two-wheel drive small car.

The water in the cabin is magnificent the use of bought water is discouraged, but the choice is yours.
