LIVING
An off-the-grid stay with all the necessary comforts. The cabin has a lounge inside with a dining room table and chairs. The glass doors and large windows let ample light and fresh air into the cabin, take in your surroundings from a generously sized wooden deck with outdoor furniture and a hot tub.. The kitchen offers all the necessary equipment including a fridge, freezer and gas hob for a comfortable self-catering stay.
THE AREA
The cabin is situated on the beautiful near Rawsonville, a largely undiscovered farming village which boasts seventeen wine and brandy cellars within ten kilometers. The majority of the estates are family-owned. Some have been farming here for up to eight generations. Many of the winemakers have grown up together. They have further banded together to form Breedekloof Makers, a collaborative that showcases boutique productions of chenin blanc, termed “the expected”, as well as wines made from unusual cultivars, or “the unexpected”.
Rawsonville is situated merely an hour's drive from Cape Town. The many majestic mountain ranges offer visitors a glimpse of the natural Fynbos and endemic bird life.
GOOD TO KNOW

One bag of firewood is provided, if more is needed it is for the guests own account.
A coffee plunger is available.
Basic pantry items are provided; salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
Pet policy: 1 dog only. Pets not allowed on the furniture and they reserve the right to charge for any stains or damages.
