Yellowwood Cottage is the perfect country escape for family and friends, located on  a working olive farm in beautiful Wellington, Cape Winelands. The surrounding areas offer various outdoor activities, such as zip slide, hiking and golfing. There are plenty of wonderful wine farms, restaurants and local arts and crafts shops to visit.

THE COTTAGE

With its unique, spacious interior, it hosts 3 large ensuite airconditioned bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 6 guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a lounge with a log burning stove for those chilly winter nights.

1 x King bed or 2 x twin beds with ensuite bathroom with bath and shower, airconditioning

1 x Queen bed with ensuite bathroom with shower, air conditioning

2 x Twin beds with ensuite bathroom with shower, air conditioning

LIVING 

There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, a lounge with a log burning stove for those chilly winter nights. An indoor braai (BBQ) area opens onto a private patio with splash pool. The day bed on the front stoep, shaded by large trees is the perfect spot to escape the hot summer sun.

THE AREA

The unspoiled nature of Bainskloof makes it an ideal getaway. The flora of Bainskloof encompasses an astounding 277 varieties of flowering plants. The fauna in the area includes a selection of 182 bird species in addition to otters, jackals, leopards, honey badgers, klipspringers, grysbok, steenbok, and endangered frogs, and some unique fish. Adventurers flock to Bainskloof to participate in mountain biking, hiking, and swimming in the freshwater pools.

GOOD TO KNOW

All bath and pool towels provided, conditioning shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and hand cream.

Rooibos and English breakfast tea, plunger coffee, milk and sugar, rusks, a bag of ice, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets are provided.

For the indoor fireplace, hot tub and braai a bundle of wood with firelighters and matches are provided. More wood is available on request.

Pool covers can be provided, but please note that there is an open pool at the main house and a farm dam close by.
