THE COTTAGE

Built in the style of Churchhaven’s original cottages, it blends natural materials like camphor wood, rattan, and screed flooring with soft, neutral tones that reflect the landscape around it. The interiors are open-plan and light-filled, with a mix of traditional textures and contemporary touches — from wood-burning stoves and linen-covered sofas to curated artworks and subtle lighting. Every detail has been chosen for comfort and simplicity.

THE AREA

Churchhaven is a small, private settlement within the West Coast National Park, about 90 minutes from Cape Town. Surrounded by fynbos and set along the calm waters of the Langebaan Lagoon, it’s one of the Cape’s most peaceful and untouched coastal areas. Life here moves slowly — shaped by the tides, early swims, quiet walks, birdsong, and the sight of flamingos wading in the shallows. With regulated park access and no through-traffic, Churchhaven offers a deep sense of stillness, seclusion, and connection to nature.

A refundable breakage deposit is due after booking.
