Our Top Picks for Honeymooners

Posted on Mon October 2, 2023.

With a gloriously overwhelming amount of choice available to honeymooners in South Africa, we have taken the liberty of narrowing down our favourite options to celebrate your newly tied nuptials.

We selected these properties based on the following basic criteria:

LOCATION - all these lovely stays are secluded and extremely private, yet close enough to civilisation so that you explore the activities on offer in the area.

ROMANTIC - with love and romance on the high, one simply must opt for a place with either a hot tub, outdoor bath, indoor fireplace, cargo net, but i'm sure you won't complain if all of the above are available.

PERSONAL TOUCHES - a married couple should always be made to feel super special, all the listed properties provide some lovely goodies on arrival with the option to order additional various picnic and braai baskets prior to arrival.

Thank you for the wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay over the long weekend at Salt Cottage. The farm honey and eggs was a special touch and the place had all the amenities one would need. Our little dog enjoyed the fauna and views as much as we did.
