Words cannot be enough to describe our experience. Just a short drive from CT we wanted a quiet place to recharge for the weekend. Our private cabin overlooking the breathtaking River provided the perfect retreat. The sounds of the birds chirping and the beautiful scenery provided the perfect landscape to enjoy the cabin. The boma area for the braai, the hot-tub with a view and the hammock was like we were visitors in the most beautiful place on earth. We leave with only one big disappointment, that we never booked for a longer stay.

The breath-taking majestic Breede River drinks you in as you enter the cabin, making it one of the most beautiful and tranquil backdrops to compliment this cabin. Perched on the edge of the cliff, we delighted in sundowners in the wood-fired hot tub, lazied around on the cargo net and enjoyed crackling, fire-side chats after the sun went down, all whilst marvelling at the stunning view (it's hard to keep your eyes off).

Sweet bird song kept us entertained as we tried to identify the species over a cup of coffee in the mornings - with an incredible sunrise over the Breede River, I might add.

A favourite was taking the kayak on the river, followed by some snacks on the secluded beach whilst soaking up some much needed vitamin D after this long Cape winter, haha!

We feel reseted, recharged and rejuvenated to take on the rest of this year.

The views are simply breathtaking and you have a beautiful stretch of the Breede River all to yourself. Soaking in the hot tub on the deck and kayaking on the river were our highlights. Thanks for an incredible stay, we will be back!

Truly no other way to describe my stay. First place I’ve been too where I completely disregarded my itinerary didn’t even go for run! I simply could not be away from the cabin even for a minute! I had such a beautiful and relaxing time all on my own wish the was a remote to pause time. At no point did I feel unsafe. Will definitely be back with friends, family and partner or maybe just build me my own permanent cabin🤣.
