THE HOUSE

Sleeping up to four guests across two en-suite bedrooms, Bush House is a beautifully secluded cottage designed for a true escape. The open-plan lounge and kitchen open onto a covered veranda, with a private hot tub tucked into the surrounding bush. Inside, an indoor fireplace brings warmth and cosiness to cooler evenings, while the wild landscape remains right on your doorstep.

LIVING 

Life at Bush House is all about embracing the outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy meals, including a fridge, two-plate hob, air fryer, crockery, and cutlery. Soak in the private hot tub surrounded by fynbos, shower beneath the trees in the indoor-outdoor bathrooms, or gaze up at the stars from a warm bath. Come evening, gather around the fireplace or fire up the outside braai and let the sounds of the bush take over.

THE AREA

!Khwa ttu, the San Education and Culture Centre, 70 km north-west of Cape Town offers you the unique experience of being introduced to the world of the descendants of the first indigenous people of southern Africa.

!Khwa ttu covers over 850ha and is located in the vicinity of the Atlantic village of Yzerfontein. The environment with its vast openness, rocky outcrops, indigenous fynbos vegetation and a number of game species offers wonderful possibilities to enjoy nature and rest the soul and mind.

Breakfast is included, served from 07:00 – 11:30 in the restaurant.

Each room comes with fresh towels and handmade soap.

The restaurant closes at 16:00. If you would like to order a delicious in-room dinner basket, please place your order by 15:30.

70 km (about 1 hour’s drive) from Cape Town’s city centre, near Yzerfontein and Darling.

Well-behaved pets, and dogs on leads, are welcome.
