THE CABIN

Butterfly Cabin is a quirky restored farm cottage and pet-friendly. Chic and colourful, the cabin is set in its own garden making it popular with families who have young children. It boasts the finest views on the property and a wide veranda from which to enjoy them. Another gorgeous feature of this cottage is the mosaic and glass bottle shower.

LIVING 

Butterfly Cabin is a bright and welcoming retreat, perfect for families, small groups, and those travelling with furry companions. Sleeping up to five guests, the cabin features a spacious living area with full-width glass sliding doors that open to the outdoors, allowing you to soak up the surrounding nature. A skylight above creates a magical experience, letting you watch the changing skies by day and the stars at night from the comfort of your cabin.

The cosy wood-burning fireplace adds warmth and ambience, while the fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes a 4-plate gas burner, air fryer, microwave, and fridge/freezer for easy self-catering. The cabin includes a main sleeping area, a second bedroom with two bunk beds, and a unique Gaudí-inspired art shower tower. Enjoy relaxed evenings around the outdoor braai area, with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with selected DStv channels, safe parking, and pet-friendly accommodation making Butterfly Cabin a comfortable escape for the whole family.

With some of the Garden Route’s most spectacular landscapes right on your doorstep, it’s an ideal base for discovering this unforgettable corner of South Africa.

GOOD TO KNOW

An extra mattress can be added to the kids room on request.

Smoking inside the cabin is prohibited.

Guests wanting to check in after 18h30 should advise us what time they intend to arrive otherwise we may consider it a no-show.

There is a sauna on-site for guest use.
