Radio Nowhere Cabin is an eco-friendly, off-the-grid forest retreat for two secretly hidden away on higher ground among pine trees and pristine fynbos in the scenic Rawsonville Valley.

THE CABIN
Designed with a minimalist philosophy, the contemporary space utilises solar-powered electricity, mountain-sourced spring water, and an open-plan interior featuring a private wood-fired hot tub and outdoor amenities.

LIVING
An off-the-grid stay with all the necessary comforts. The cabin has a lounge inside as well as comfy outdoor furniture on the wooden deck. The glass doors and large windows let ample light and fresh air into the cabin. The kitchen offers all the necessary equipment including a fridge, freezer and gas hob.
THE AREA
The cabin is situated on a beautiful farm near Rawsonville, a largely undiscovered farming village which boasts seventeen wine and brandy cellars within ten kilometres. The majority of the estates are family-owned. Some have been farming here for up to eight generations. Many of the winemakers have grown up together. They have further banded together to form Breedekloof Makers, a collaborative that showcases boutique productions of chenin blanc, termed “the expected”, as well as wines made from unusual cultivars, or “the unexpected”.
Rawsonville is situated merely an hour's drive from Cape Town. The many majestic mountain ranges offer visitors a glimpse of the natural Fynbos and endemic bird life.
GOOD TO KNOW
There is no WiFi.
One bag of firewood is provided, if more is needed it is for the guests own account.
A coffee plunger is available.
Basic pantry items are provided; salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
