THE COTTAGE

Surrounded by serene, unspoiled nature, this delightful cottage is a true haven of modern luxury. Step inside to discover a beautifully designed interior, thoughtfully curated with elegant décor and sophisticated touches. Outside, breathtaking mountain views stretch endlessly before you, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for relaxation and romance.

LIVING

The cottage has an open plan bedroom/living area/kitchenette layout with air-conditioning for hot summers and a fireplace for the winter. There is an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. Quality bedding, linen and bath towels are provided and in the winter months an electric blanket on the bed.

The unit does not have a TV but does have a mini hi-fi radio and CD system.

Outside, under the covered veranda are built-in braai facilities and the cottage features an outdoor wood-fire-heated splash hot tub on the veranda. There is also an outdoor hot shower.

THE AREA

The town is situated in the beautiful Tulbagh valley, which is almost completely surrounded by 3 mountain ranges - the Obiqua mountains,, the towering Winterhoek on the northern end and the Witzenberg range. The Great Winterhoek mountains tower 2077m above sea level and are picturesquely snow-capped in winter.

Discover the Tulbagh valley on foot, bicycle or horseback. Hiking trails vary from gentle meanders to the strenuous, all with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Tulbagh is a wine-lovers paradise, with many stunning estates and vineyards to explore.

Check-in and check-out will be a contactless experience. Should you be checking in after 18h00 please contact the property to open the gate for you.

To ensure the enjoyment of all guests, regrettably, no babies/children are allowed at this cottage.

Please note that no generators are available during load shedding.

​Wood is included for your first fire, but extra wood is also for sale on site​.

Basic pantry items provided; salt & pepper and a coffee and tea station.​

Please bring swimming towels for the hot tub.
