This cabin has everything you need to settle in and switch off for a few days. Inside, it’s all about comfort — think a cosy sitting area, a fireplace for slower evenings, air conditioning and a ceiling fan to keep things just right, plus little touches like an electric blanket and thoughtful bathroom amenities. There’s a full kitchen with all the essentials (oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee/tea setup), along with a dining table for easy, laid-back meals.
Large windows open up to peaceful garden, mountain, ocean, and pool views, so you’re always connected to the surroundings, even from inside. It’s a non-smoking space, with Wi-Fi if you need it, but it’s just as easy to unplug.
Outside is where it really shines — a private patio with outdoor furniture, a braai area for long, relaxed dinners, and a plunge pool for sunny days. There’s also a hot tub to wind down in, all set within a garden that makes the whole place feel tucked away and calm.
THE AREA
Darling is a small town situated in the west coast region of the Western Cape. Located about 75 km from Cape Town, the sleepy village of Darling is characterised by rolling vineyards, golden wheat fields, and a colourful patchwork of seasonal wildflowers. Nature lovers will be in their element. The town is traditionally known for its beautiful wildflowers and has hosted the annual Darling Wildflower Show since 1917, attracting tourists from all over.
