THE AREA

Located on Dassenheuwel, a timeless generational farm that has been the heart and soul of a family for decades. Situated 18km outside Malmesbury on the R45 towards Paarl, Dassenheuwel is more than just a farm - it is a legacy nestled in a picturesque valley. The journey to our farm takes you along a charming 7km gravel road, winding through serene landscapes until you reach the breathtaking views of the Porceleinberg Mountain, the Berg River, and the Riebeek Valley.

Today, Dassenheuwel continues to thrive under the loving care of Lida and Kobus, who embody the passion and commitment of those who came before them. As you explore our working cattle, sheep, and grain farm, you'll witness the harmony between the natural beauty of the land and the hard work that sustains it.

Each corner of Dassenheuwel tells a story, from the rolling fields where the grains grow to the pastures where the cattle and sheep graze contentedly. The farm is not just a place of work; it's a sanctuary of peace and tranquility, where the rhythm of nature sets the pace for daily life. Lida and Kobus warmly welcome you to experience the rich heritage and stunning beauty of Dassenheuwel, a place where history, love, and nature come together to create something truly special.
