THE CABIN

Located within the serene surroundings of Kragga Kamma Game Park, Zebra Cabin offers an enchanting, self-catering wilderness escape designed for two. This rustic log cabin serves as the ideal setting for a romantic weekend away or a relaxing retreat immersed in nature. Unwind after a day of exploring the park with your private outdoor wood-fired KolKol hot tub and braai facility—perfect for soaking under the stars and taking in the beauty of a bushveld sunset. Park entrance fees are included in your stay, allowing you to seamlessly enjoy the wildlife and surrounding landscapes from the moment you arrive.

LIVING 

Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, this light-filled open-plan cabin features a plush double bed, a cosy breakfast table, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. Fully air-conditioned to ensure a pleasant stay in any season, the unit comes with a fully equipped kitchenette for easy meal preparation. Guests can also enjoy modern conveniences during their stay, including a SMART TV with streaming capabilities (simply log into your own Netflix, DSTV, or Disney+ accounts) for cosy evenings indoors.

The lush coastal forest and grassland is home to vast herds of African game, including White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, Zebra, Nyala, Bontebok, Lechwe and many more species. All the animals roam freely, unrestricted in natural surroundings.

THE AREA

Known as the "Friendly City", Port Elizabeth is located on the south-eastern coast, 763 km east of Cape Town. A superb value-for-money holiday base, Port Elizabeth offers a diverse selection of attractions as a family-fun holiday destination including scenic nature trails, historic heritage, magnificent wildlife, cultural experiences and countless water sports activities.

Algoa Bay's 40 km of breathtaking coastline boasts a perfect combination of warm water, and protected beaches and is complemented by Port Elizabeth's wonderful climate, which has been rated as having the fourth-best weather of any coastal city in the world. Port Elizabeth also supports the most diverse array of vegetation types in South Africa as five of the country's seven terrestrial biogeographic areas are represented in the Eastern Cape.

The Bay, which is a favoured draw-card for beach and watersport enthusiasts is fast becoming known as South Africa's watersport capital and offers activity throughout the year, especially wind-surfing and fishing. In fact, Algoa Bay is regarded as one of the best sailing venues in the world, while scuba diving is of world-class quality with beautiful reefs, shipwrecks, fish and colourful coral species.

The Bush Café trading hours are from 09h00 to 17h00, the kitchen closes at 16h30, (16h00 on a Sunday).

After hour check in's can be arranged at an additional cost.

Our reception office closes at 17h00.

Gates to the park close at 17h00. No entry or exit will be permitted after 17h00, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Guests are only permitted to drive through the park until 18h30, or when you have to put your headlights on, whichever comes first.

All units are non-smoking units, guests are provided with an ashtray which can be used outside the units.

Guided game drive (bookings essential): minimum age of 5yrs+ (10h00 or 14h00 daily): 3 or less persons: R900.00, 4 or more persons: R380.00 per person.

Children aged between 0 and 5 stay free.

Children aged between 6 and 16 pay 50% of the sliding scale rate.
